The catch of Darwins pioneering research was that it lead to conflicting believe systems. The battle, started with his "Origin of species", is not yet ended, which is remarkable.
In this context a quote of philosopher Bertrand Russel is even more funny than he meant it to be: "It has been said that man is a rational animal. All my life I have been searching for evidence which could support this."
It was a long search. Mr. Russel died in 1970 at the age of 98!
